Project specifications: Kouhsar Mall is located near a dynamic, busy neighborhood on a highly scenic hillside of Mashhad. The project incorporates eye-catching buildings of 24000 m2 building area with glazing views of the city and comforting internal architecture which facilitate everyday business. Among the features of the project are 220 commercial units of variable area, 8-story parking building with capacity for 500 cars, terraces for cultural and leisure purposes, wide-span voids, big stores, expo area of 100 m2, 800 m2 food court, ladies-exclusive shopping center and beauty salons, a cozy café, an amusement park, and over 12000 m2 of roof garden.
Solution: Being a large-scale, iconic building inhibiting spaces of highly various use, Kouhsar Mall required a stable, high-performance, reliable, HVAC control and balancing solution. Therefore, we suggested and provided 213 pcs Frese ALPHA automatic balancing valves as well as 15 pcs Frese STBV fixed orifice manual balancing valves (FODRV).
